Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked national law firm seeking a 5th year and above Complex Litigation Associate to join its San Francisco, California office.

This is a litigation focused opportunity for an associate who enjoys sophisticated commercial disputes and wants consistent exposure to complex business litigation and trade secret matters.

The team offers a well established national platform, direct partner access, and a collaborative approach to developing litigation judgment through meaningful responsibility on client matters.

The Opportunity

You will support complex commercial litigation, sophisticated business disputes, and trade secret matters, with hands on responsibility across motion practice, written discovery, depositions, and pretrial preparation. Court appearance and deposition experience is strongly preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a 5th year and above Complex Litigation Associate with:

• 5 or more years of complex commercial litigation experience, including substantive trade secret matters, gained in a law firm setting
• Strong litigation fundamentals including motion practice, written discovery, depositions, and pretrial preparation
• Admission to the California Bar in good standing
• Excellent academic credentials, with a judicial clerkship viewed positively
• Ability to provide a resume, undergraduate and law school transcripts, and a writing sample as part of the process

Compensation
