The Opportunity
You will advise on public securities offerings and other capital markets transactions, including matters involving the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and related disclosure and compliance considerations. The role involves close coordination with corporate colleagues and direct participation in drafting, reviewing and managing key transaction documents and workstreams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a 3rd to 5th year Capital Markets Associate with:
- 3 to 5 years of capital markets experience within a law firm corporate practice
- Experience advising on public securities transactions and securities offerings
- Working knowledge of Securities Exchange Act of 1934 requirements and related regulations
- Admission to the New York Bar, or eligibility to become admitted promptly
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid schedule with regular in office presence expected three days per week
