Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked national law firm seeking a 5th to 7th year Corporate Transactions Senior Associate to join its Atlanta GA office.

This is a fully transactional role focused on sophisticated mergers and acquisitions matters, with a meaningful health care transactions component. The successful candidate will support complex corporate deal activity for a broad client base, including businesses, strategic organizations and health care sector participants.

The Opportunity

You will manage core workstreams on mergers and acquisitions transactions, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating definitive and ancillary deal documents, managing closing mechanics, and coordinating with regulatory and compliance specialists on health care related corporate matters.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a 5th to 7th year Corporate Transactions Senior Associate with:

• 5 to 7 years of substantial transactional experience with meaningful mergers and acquisitions deal work
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills across purchase and sale agreements and customary ancillary documents
• Experience with, or a demonstrated interest in, health care related corporate transactions
• Excellent academic credentials from a highly regarded law school
• Active bar admission in Georgia or Illinois, or a clear path to timely admission in Georgia
