Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 100 international law firm seeking a 3rd to 4th year Corporate Transactions Associate to join its Atlanta GA office.

This is a strong opportunity for a corporate associate who wants to focus on sophisticated transactional work with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and related deal support, working closely with partners and experienced deal teams.

The platform offers a well established corporate practice, a collaborative and commercially focused approach, and access to complex matters for middle market and larger company clients.

The Opportunity

You will support and manage core aspects of M&A transactions, including diligence, drafting and negotiating ancillary deal documents, coordinating closing deliverables, and working with internal specialists and client stakeholders to keep active transactions moving efficiently.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a 3rd to 4th year Corporate Transactions Associate with:

• 3 to 4 years of corporate transactional experience with meaningful exposure to M&A matters
• Experience supporting acquisitions, dispositions, diligence, closing processes and related deal documentation
• Excellent academic credentials with strong drafting, analytical and transaction management skills
• Admission to the Georgia Bar in good standing
• Strong interpersonal skills and a practical, team oriented approach with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work in the Atlanta office on a full time in office schedule
