Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 100 international firm with a recognized finance and capital markets practice seeking a 2nd to 3rd year Capital Markets Associate to join its New York office.

This position offers direct access to sophisticated equity and debt offerings for high profile technology, energy, and finance sector clients on a global platform. The Role

• Advise on public securities offerings, including equity and debt capital markets transactions for sophisticated issuers and underwriters
• Support complex capital raising matters involving technology, life sciences, energy, infrastructure, and financial sector clients
• Draft and negotiate offering documents, disclosure, and related transactional documentation with increasing ownership of workstreams
• Coordinate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to manage timelines and resolve transactional issues
• Work closely with partners and senior associates, gaining visibility and progression through hands on deal responsibility

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a 2nd to 3rd year Capital Markets Associate with:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in equity and or debt capital markets transactions
• Significant exposure to public securities offerings and related disclosure and documentation
• Active New York Bar membership
• Strong academic credentials from a Top 50 law school and peer firm training
• Ability to work in the New York office in person 5 days each week

Compensation & Benefits

• $235,000 to $260,000 base salary, depending on experience
