The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care, ensuring medication safety, and supporting positive patient health outcomes through effective medication management and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care and ensure safe, effective medication usage.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
- Conduct medication reconciliation and review patient medication histories for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding medication usage, side effects, and potential interactions.
- Maintain compliance with aseptic techniques, sterile compounding procedures, and USP standards.
- Support specialty pharmacy operations and clinical workflow.
- Stay current with advancements in pharmacotherapy and patient care practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30pm
- Weekend Coverage Required: Saturday & Sunday
- Relocation required to Columbus, Ohio
- Additional shift availability: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Pharmacist license in the State of Ohio.
- Strong understanding of pharmacotherapy and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to ethical pharmacy practice and continuous professional development.
- Experience in specialty pharmacy and/or compounding pharmacy.
- Knowledge of sterile compounding and USP compliance standards.

Salary : $150,000 - $155,000
