Staff Pharmacist

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week temp-to-direct hire opportunity in a high-volume community pharmacy setting. This role offers a stable weekday schedule and the potential for long-term placement.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Duration: 13 weeks (temp to direct hire)

Environment: Retail pharmacy | ~200–300 inbound prescriptions daily

Team Structure:

• 2 Pharmacists on staff
• 5 Pharmacy Technicians
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and clinical appropriateness
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily workflow
• Ensure efficient processing of high-volume prescription volume
• Provide patient counseling and medication guidance
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Support workflow optimization using pharmacy management systems
• Collaborate with team to maintain accuracy and service standards
  
  

Requirements:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license required
• Retail pharmacy experience required
• PrimeRx experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
• Ability to lead and collaborate within a small pharmacy team required
