We are seeking highly skilled technical professionals to play key roles in designing and collaborating with foundry partners to develop new products for volume manufacturing. We are seeking highly skilled technical professionals to play key roles in designing and collaborating with foundry partners to develop new products for volume manufacturing. We offer a highly competitive compensation package along with comprehensive benefits, including healthcare, H1B/Green Card sponsorship, and a 401(k) plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop epitaxial (epi) structures for high-speed photodiodes (100G/lane and above)
- Generate mask layouts for device fabrication
- Perform data analysis to establish correlations between device performance and design parameters
- Conduct failure analysis to identify and resolve issues impacting functionality and performance
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including epitaxial, integration, and packaging/testing engineers, to drive product development and quality improvements
- Participate in limited travel as required
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Optics, Physics, or a related field (semiconductor/laser industry experience required)
- 5 years of relevant industry experience preferred
- Hands-on experience designing high-speed photodiodes is required; experience with 200G PD or UTC design is highly preferred
- Proven track record of successful high-volume production delivery is a plus
- Experience in wafer processing, packaging/testing, epitaxial characterization, reliability, and failure analysis is preferred
- Strong knowledge of photodiode physics and modeling
