This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior High-Speed Photodiode Design Engineer based in Cupertino, CA, with some flexibility to work from home. Responsibilities include designing and developing high-speed photodiodes for use in Silicon Photonics applications. The role entails performing electrical, optical, and mechanical simulations, leading product design processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and solving complex technical challenges. The candidate will be expected to contribute to innovation, ensure design quality, and support the testing and validation of groundbreaking photonics technologies.
- Strong expertise in Design Engineering and Product Design.
- Proficiency in Electrical Engineering and knowledge of high-speed optoelectronic devices.
- Experience with Mechanical Engineering and structural optimization for photonics applications.
- Skill in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for designing and modeling intricate photonic components.
