Laminating Machine Operator

About The Job

We are currently seeking a Laminating Machine Operator to join our Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lamination machinery to ensure the production of high-quality laminated products that meet customer specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on machine experience who takes pride in efficiency, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor laminating machines for optimal performance and product quality.
• Inspect materials before and after lamination to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Load and unload rolls of film, paper, or other substrates.
• Track and manage inventory of lamination supplies.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs; report major equipment issues to the maintenance team.
• Maintain accurate production records including machine settings, output data, and quality checks.
• Identify and suggest improvements in lamination processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete other assignments as needed to support production goals.
  
  

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of lamination techniques types and techniques (familiarity with various films helpful--gloss, matte, soft touch, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and production orders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  
  

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating lamination or similar machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
