What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist Setup/Operator position at Valco Precision Machine, Inc.?
Job Requirements:
- Set-up and Run CNC Milling and/or Turning Centers.
- Reads process sheets, blueprints and sketches of parts to determine machining to be done.
- Edit programs at machine.
- Should have own basic inspection tools.
- Responsible for inspection on first run piece and spot check succeeding pieces for conformance specifications.
- Ensure all components produced meet specifications by using appropriate measuring equipment such as(Micrometers, Verniers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, etc).
- Basic machine maintenance. Maintain a clean work area, etc.
Qualifications:
- Cam software experience desired but not required.
