What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer/Operator position at Valco Precision Machine, Inc.?
Job Requirements:
- Program, Set-up and run CNC machining centers with Fanuc controls.
- Ability to take drawings and write a program on Mastercam.
- Mastercam experience necessary.
- Minimum 5 years of experience required.
- Read process sheets, blueprints and sketches of parts to determine machining to be done.
- Order appropriate tooling for job.
- Responsible for inspection on first run piece and spot check succeeding pieces for conformance specifications.
- Ensure all components produced meet specifications by using appropriate measuring equipment such as (Micrometers, Verniers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, etc.)
- Maintain a clean work area.
