Employees may work around moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes, dust, and loud manufacturing environments. Exposure to extreme temperatures and confined spaces may occasionally occur. Hearing protection may be required in designated areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Support production and maintenance teams with machining and fabrication tasks
- Manufacture repair and spare parts for production equipment
- Produce consumable components required for manufacturing operations
- Safely operate conventional and CNC machines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Follow and enforce all workplace safety procedures and standards
- Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects and operational improvements
- 5-8 years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
- Ability to work comfortably at various heights and equipment levels
- Capable of standing for extended periods while operating equipment
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures and standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Understanding of ISO tolerancing systems and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Ability to read, write, and understand G/M-code
- Willingness to complete a Mechanical/Machinist Aptitude Test
- Open to completing additional college-level courses if required
- Proficient with precision measurement tools including dial calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and inspection/calibration equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, piping, boiler, and steam systems is a plus
- Experience with preventative maintenance procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Thorough understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
- Familiarity with 5-S workplace organization and cleanliness standards
- Experience performing operator maintenance tasks including cleaning, inspection, and lubrication
