Position Summary:
Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the plant, restrooms, bathrooms, breakrooms, and other areas as directed. Manages upkeep of parking lot and sidewalks.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Performs general clean up in all areas of the plant as directed
2. Manages routine upkeep of exterior areas and parking lot. Empties trash, spreads salt, clears sidewalks.
3. Cleans restrooms, locker rooms and breakrooms.
4. Stocks paper goods in assigned areas.
5. Handles emergency clean up and upkeep requests.
6. Removes garbage and recycling.
7. Performs sanitizing duties throughout the plant.
8. Cleans floors and uses scrubber.
9. Paints as necessary.
10. All other work-related duties as assigned.
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed
Pay: $18.00/hour starting wage
Qualifications Required:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary.
- Experience with large industrial equipment like scrubbers and operate in a safe manner.
Competencies:
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to take direction.
- Strong attention to detail.
Physical Demand and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at the manufacturing site including high temperatures. The noise level in the work environment may be loud.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, climbing stairs, reach above and below chest level, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with arms. This position works at various levels. The employee must frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds and may be exposed to chemical, non-toxic fumes or dust. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Work Environment: The employee will occasionally be exposed to Cold Temperatures <55 degrees and Heat >100 degrees. The environment is well lit; The noise level in the environment is loud due to exposure and use of fork trucks, but employee may be exposed to higher than 85 decibels on occasion, hearing protection is required. Employee may be occasionally required to enter confined spaces.
