Responsibilities
- Warmly greet clients and visitors, providing a supportive and welcoming environment.
- Efficiently manage incoming calls and correspondence, ensuring clients and potential clients are directed to the appropriate team member.
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars for attorneys and staff, and provide reminders for upcoming engagements.
- Assist with the preparation of immigration-related documents and materials, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintain office inventory and the organization of the reception area to uphold a professional and tidy environment.
- Process payments and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay informed on the latest in immigration law and office technologies.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on compassionate client service.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to learning and adapting to changes in immigration law and office technology.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred, with a keen interest in immigration law.
