Job Summary: Be the face of The Current Hotel, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection- a distinguished portfolio of one-of-a-kind hotels.
As a Front Desk Clerk, you will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring every guest's stay begins and ends with a positive impression. This role is at the heart of our hospitality experience, requiring a warm and welcoming demeanor, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable guest interactions.
Essential Functions:
- Welcome guests with genuine warmth and professionalism, handling check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Answer guest inquiries regarding reservations, hotel services, and local attractions, ensuring personalized recommendations.
- Handle payment transactions, resolve billing inquiries, and maintain accurate records of guest accounts.
- Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and courteously, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to fulfill guest requests seamlessly.
- Maintain a well-organized and inviting front desk area, supporting the hotel’s image and standards.
- Stay informed about hotel policies, procedures, and promotions to provide up-to-date information to guests.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and basic computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Occasionally lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
- Perform repetitive motions, such as typing or using the telephone, in a fast-paced environment.
