We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to support escrow and title operations for residential and commercial real estate transactions. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth and timely closings by assisting with document preparation, transaction coordination, customer communication, and administrative support throughout the escrow process.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Escrow Officers with opening, processing, and closing escrow transactions.
Prepare and review escrow files, closing documents, settlement statements, and related paperwork.
Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, and other parties involved in transactions.
Order Payoffs, Surveys, Title Documents, And Other Closing Requirements.
Schedule closings and maintain transaction timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
Collect, organize, and verify required documentation for escrow files.
Respond to client inquiries and provide updates regarding transaction status.
Assist with funding, disbursement, and post-closing activities.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Perform general administrative duties, including file management, data entry, and document processing.
Required Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in escrow, title, real estate, mortgage, banking, or an administrative support role.
Previous experience working for a title company, escrow company, real estate office, or mortgage lender.
Knowledge of escrow procedures, title commitments, settlement statements, and real estate closing processes.
Familiarity with escrow or title software systems.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple transactions.
Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
