Duties & Responsibilities
- Draft and update comprehensive financial plans independently, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client objectives.
- Model and answer complex financial planning questions using advanced planning tools and techniques.
- Prepare and follow up on client review meetings autonomously, ensuring all action items are addressed.
- Draft planning recommendations with limited oversight, incorporating multiple financial considerations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of financial markets and current economic events.
- Maintain knowledge of model portfolios, investment philosophy, benchmarks, and investment strategies.
- Manage assigned client relationships with limited oversight while maintaining high service standards.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Escalate client issues appropriately and propose solutions for complex situations.
- Enter trades and process money movements as directed by senior advisors.
- Mentor and train junior advisory team members.
- Apply sound judgment and experience to independently solve problems and navigate new situations.
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field).
- 4 years of industry experience required, preferably with an independent registered investment advisory firm.
- Series 65 or Series 66 license required.
- CFP, FPQP, or CFA certification (or actively pursuing one of these credentials).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with financial planning, CRM, portfolio management, and document management software.
- Strong personal integrity and professional initiative.
