We are urgently seeking a hands-on Production Lead Supervisor with strong technical expertise in die casting operations and leadership skills to guide our production team toward efficiency, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and support production operators in the die casting department.
- Direct set up and adjust die casting machines and robot systems.
- Direct mold changes, mold adjustments, and ensure proper mold filling.
- Establish optimum process parameters for new products.
- Detect and troubleshoot problems such as mold flash, burrs, and castings non-fill.
- Reduce downtime and optimize cycle time during mold changes and setups.
- Oversee metal handling.
- Conduct in-process mold verifications and prevent potential defects.
- Collaborate with the tool room team to perform minor die repairs, polishing, grinding, and maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout production.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in aluminum die casting operations or a related field.
- Knowledge of robot programming and setup preferred.
- Experience with mold and die maintenance, polishing, and grinder tools.
- Strong understanding of aluminum melting, flux treatment, and crucible handling.
- Leadership experience training and supervising operators.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and troubleshoot issues effectively.
