Commercial Door Estimator - Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for creating accurate estimates and providing expert recommendations for the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial doors and dock equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate and competitive estimates for commercial door and dock projects
• Provide expert recommendations for installation, repair, and upgrades
• Maintain strong knowledge of commercial doors, hardware, and dock equipment
• Conduct site visits, take precise measurements, and document findings
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build client relationships
• Generate sales through technical expertise and service quality
• Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
• Coordinate material ordering and ensure project readiness
• Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years in the commercial door industry
• At least 3 years of experience in estimating, project management, or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of commercial doors, hardware, and loading dock systems
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, project management tools)
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong communication skills required
