Attorneys are expected to effectively manage caseloads, maintain proactive communication with clients and outside parties, and provide guidance and oversight to support staff, including paralegals and legal assistants.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and evaluate cases from inception through resolution
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, vendors, experts, and opposing counsel
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and professional service
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research, factual investigations, and case analysis
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests
- Interview clients, witnesses, and relevant parties
- Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Develop case strategies and evaluate settlement opportunities
- Retain and coordinate with expert witnesses as needed
- Monitor case budgets, expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Supervise and delegate work to paralegals and support staff
- Accurately track and enter billable time
- Collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff in a team-oriented environment
- Stay current on legal developments through CLEs and professional education
- Ensure compliance with Firm policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Active membership and good standing with the Delaware Bar
- 2-5 years of legal experience preferred, but not required
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
