If your answer is yes, then we want you on our team!Client is seeking an enthusiastic BCBA - School Behavior Analyst to provide behavioral support and program development at our high school campus located in Sunnyvale CA. As a School BCBA, you will observe students and consult with and train staff on behavioral programs for students on the Autism Spectrum.ResponsibilitiesProvide behavior consultation and services to students in High School.Develop training for Aides, Teachers and other staff and present regular training sessions.Develop, modify and review functional and motivational behavior assessments, behavioral plans and interventions.Conduct on-site and direct observation of student's behavior and track progress, presenting suitable data assessment for the condition.Model the skillful usage of basic behavioral procedures including: behavior specific praise, effective prompting, and behavior reduction procedures.Qualifications:Education - Must possess a MA/MS degree in the field of Behavior Analysis or related field.Certifications - Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the BACB.Experience - Should have at least 2 years experience working with the special needs population.Required SkillsCommunication Skills - The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to be creative, and enthusiastic. The candidate must actively participate in meetings with Teachers, parents, and other staff. Collaboration and team work are critical skills.Management and Organizational Skills - This position requires strong organizational skills with the ability to develop/implement written treatment directions and collect and interpret numeric data. Candidate must possess the skills to effectively train a team of employees.Technical Skills - Proficiency in understanding behavior (ABA) for program development and implementation is required.
