Forklift Operator - Second Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift/Power Jack Operator to join our team on the second shift at our Hinton, VA facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently while adhering to all safety guidelines and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse or production area.
• Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
• Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist with inventory management and stock organization as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator certification or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work the second shift hours reliably.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math and communication skills.

Shift Details

Second Shift: Typically from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
