Position Summary
The HR Systems & Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all employee data, records, and compliance requirements are accurate, complete, and audit-ready at all times.
This role is the behind-the-scenes engine of HR, focused on systems, data integrity, and compliance — not employee relations or front-line HR support.
You’ll work closely with the HR team and program leadership to ensure everything throughout the employee lifecycle is documented, tracked, and aligned with internal policies and external requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain accurate employee data in Paylocity, including hires, changes, and terminations
- Ensure all employee files and documentation are complete and audit-ready
- Track and monitor required licenses, certifications, and trainings
- Manage and maintain the Relias Learning Management System
- Assign and track required trainings and follow up on completion
- Process benefit enrollments and audit for accuracy
- Reconcile benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Support leave tracking and documentation
- Run audits to identify gaps, missing information, or compliance risks
- Partner with HR and program teams to improve processes and ensure consistency
Requirements
What You Bring
- 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, systems, compliance, or similar work
- Experience working in an HRIS (Paylocity preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, detail-driven work
- Ability to identify issues and proactively resolve them
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Comfort working independently within structured systems
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or regulated environments preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- $28.00 per hour
