We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and resilient clinical professional to join our front-line crisis intervention team. How You Will Make an Impact

Direct, Life-Saving Crisis Support

  • Be the calm in the storm: Conduct face-to-face crisis assessments and de-escalation interventions for individuals at high risk in the community, via telehealth, or at our Walk-In Center.
  • Advocate for dignity: Champion the least restrictive treatment pathways possible, prioritizing client autonomy, safety, and long-term resolution.
  • Build safety nets: Craft immediate safety plans, facilitate referrals, and ensure warm handoffs so no one slips through the cracks.
  • Drive community connection: Utilize company or personal vehicles to meet individuals where they are, delivering counseling and linkage directly to those in need.

Clinical Leadership & Team Guidance

  • Anchor the center: Oversee the Walk-In Center environment, ensuring timely care, collaborative problem-solving with the safety team, and seamless staff coordination.
  • Mentor the front line: Provide clinical guidance, shadow new staff, and offer real-time consultations on complex, high-risk cases.
  • Bridge communication: Serve as a vital clinical liaison between the crisis team, CSU/STAR units, call centers, and executive leadership.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a closely related behavioral health field.
  • Experience: 1 years of experience in crisis intervention, behavioral health, or residential treatment (preferred).
  • Certifications: Mandatory Pre-Screening Agent (MPA) certification (or eligibility) is highly preferred. Must obtain CPR/First Aid and Therapeutic Options certifications within the first 30 days.
  • Core Strengths: Exceptional emotional resilience, the ability to remain deeply calm under pressure, and strong tech literacy (experience with Electronic Health Records like Qualifacts is a plus).
  • Driver's License: A valid license and willingness to travel locally to conduct assessments.
