CF: Production Grinder -2nd Shift

Volt has partnered with a busy manufacturer in Paramount seeking Production Grinders. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment with competitive pay and great perks.

Job Summary

The Production Grinder is responsible for grinding, polishing, and finishing metal parts while meeting all safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate grinders to remove defects, burrs, and excess weld material
• Select, replace, and adjust abrasive belts, wheels, and discs
• Inspect workpieces, tools, and equipment before and during use
• Polish metal parts to achieve smooth, high-quality finishes
• Follow all safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
• Maintain clean work areas and complete required documentation
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must meet client-specific requirements
• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to read and understand work instructions in English
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed

Location: Paramount, CA
Pay Rate: $20.21/hour
Schedule:

• Regular Shift: 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM, Monday–Friday
• Training: 1st Shift, 4:45 AM – 3:00 PM (for the first few weeks)
