Volt is immediately hiring for a Medical Device Assembler (Operator II) at Menlo Park, CA
As a Medical Device Assembler (Operator II) , you will be responsible for:
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assemble medical devices and electro?mechanical components in compliance with quality standards and work instructions.
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during assembly processes.
- Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements to ensure components meet design specifications and quality requirements.
- Perform functional and performance testing on devices using computerized test equipment and diagnostic systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and rework medical devices and components using microscopes and specialized tools.
- Ensure all assemblies meet regulatory, safety, and quality compliance standards.
- Accurately package medical devices, confirming part accuracy, labeling, and completion of all required documentation.
- Maintain cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environments as per medical industry standards.
- Record inspection results, test data, and production activities in accordance with documentation and traceability requirements.
This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity.
Schedule:
Shift: 1st Shift - 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Shift: 2nd Shift - 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
The Ideal Candidate should have:
- Hands?on experience in manufacturing or production environments with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent hand?eye coordination with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and correct minor defects and imperfections.
- Proficient in working with small, delicate components using microscopes and precision tools.
- Practical experience in a machine shop or clean manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes throughout the production lifecycle.
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience required, preferably in medical device or electro?mechanical assembly.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Payrate Range* - $22–$25.30/hourly
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
