BOOKKEEPER
Location: Superior, WI
Status: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive wage based on experience
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and assisting with month-end and year-end reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
· Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
· Prepare and process payroll. Prepare and process union remittances.
· Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
· Assist in tracking budgets, identifying variances, and recommending adjustments.
· Ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist with internal or external audits.
· Assist with DOT compliance (compiling information).
· Other administrative duties to help the team.
Qualifications:
· Proficient with QuickBooks.
· Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
· Exceptional attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
· Familiarity with tracking for individual projects.
· Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
