Director of Operations

This position has individual, team and project management responsibilities. The Director will work closely with Firm58 customers, the implementation consultants, and the software development team.

Specific Job Responsibilities

** Create and enforce an implementation methodology.

** Hire and manage a team of up to six people.

** Survey prospects to assist in requirements gathering.

 ** Conduct gap analysis.

** Deliver statements-of-work.

** Ensure customer application set-up is completed accurately and on time.

** Ensure team has completed and reviewed all technical support documentation with the client services team.

** Ensure team has completed all application testing in conjunction with the client services team for any specific customer development requirements.

** Assist the sales organization with detailed prospect demonstrations and workshops.

** Solid business process engineering and project management skills

** must be able to build a life cycle methodology for software implementation, create and manage to quantitative metrics, and manage client expectations.

** Business analyst background, accounting skills valuable.

** Domain knowledge of the financial/trading industry, clearing/back office experience a plus.

** Demonstrated leadership when dealing with others internally and externally, and ability to work well under pressure

** manage multiple projects at once.

** Must be a clear thinker with ability to reason through and conceptualize abstract problems.

** Ability to work independently with limited supervision (self-motivated, self-disciplined).
