Vision Christian Academy is seeking a High School Math Teacher for grades 8–12. Instruction will utilize Ignitia as the primary platform for curriculum delivery, grading, and record keeping, while incorporating structured, teacher-led instruction comparable to Abeka standards.
Primary Focus Areas
- Strong emphasis on mathematical foundations and problem-solving
- Concept mastery from Pre-Algebra through Algebra II, Geometry, and upper-level math (Pre-Calculus/Statistics)
- Step-by-step instructional clarity
- Application of math to real-world and college-readiness standards
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured, engaging math instruction
- Monitor and document student progress through Ignitia
- Supplement digital curriculum with direct instruction, guided practice, and review sessions
- Maintain accurate grading and communication with parents and administration
- Foster an orderly, academically focused classroom
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or related field
- High school math teaching experience preferred
- Strong background in algebraic and advanced math concepts
- Ability to blend digital curriculum with teacher-led instruction
