What are the responsibilities and job description for the Math Teacher position at The Einstein School?
Math teacher for regular and special education students in grades 4-8. Position begins August, 2026 but paid training can begin as soon as hired in April, May or June. No hours available in July.
This can be divided into 2 positions: one middle school math teacher and one elementary math teacher. Please apply if you are interested in one or the other or the combination. All positions require you to be eligible for a Florida teaching certificate.
There is only one class for each grade at our small school so there is still an hour break in the schedule for teaching all grades.
All students who attend the Einstein School are dyslexic and/or reading below grade level. There are 1 - 2 aides in the classroom with the teacher at all times allowing for small groups and a lot of support for the teacher including as automatic substitutes who already know how your classroom runs. Because we are a publicly funded charter school, you must follow the state curriculum for all grades of math. Textbooks, workbooks and manipulatives are purchased every year for this purpose.
Please do not contact the school until the principal has responded to your inquiry
