The Database Engineer 4 - Oracle leads complex and mission-critical database management initiatives across enterprise environments. This role focuses on database architecture, design, integration, performance optimization, and high availability systems, ensuring reliability and scalability of Oracle platforms.

This role requires deep expertise in Oracle technologies, database performance tuning, replication, and enterprise database systems, along with strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Database Engineering & Architecture

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Oracle databases
• Lead database architecture, integration, and data modeling initiatives
• Support next-generation database technologies
  
  

Database Operations & Support

• Support Oracle database environments in production
• Perform installations, upgrades, and migrations
• Troubleshoot complex database issues
  
  

Replication & High Availability

• Manage Oracle GoldenGate replication
• Support Oracle RAC and high availability environments
• Work with Exadata platforms
  
  

Performance Optimization

• Perform advanced performance tuning
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Optimize database efficiency and scalability
  
  

Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and recommendations
• Influence long-term database architecture strategies
• Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders
  
  

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work with application and infrastructure teams
• Maintain documentation, standards, and procedures
  
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5 years of Database Engineering experience
• Strong experience with Oracle databases (Required)
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate (Required)
• Experience with Oracle Exadata (Required)
• Experience with Oracle RAC environments (Required)
• Strong expertise in performance tuning
• Experience supporting enterprise environments
• Experience with database migration
