We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Community Director to lead one of our East Bay communities. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong operational, financial, and customer service skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
As the Community Director, you will oversee all aspects of community operations, resident relations, financial performance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage property financial performance and partner with the Regional Manager to achieve budget and revenue goals.
- Analyze financial reports and identify opportunities to improve operating results.
- Maintain the overall appearance and quality of the community, including curb appeal and property inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable housing laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Address resident concerns and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Oversee maintenance operations and support capital improvement projects.
- Drive occupancy through effective leasing strategies and marketing initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with residents, vendors, team members, and ownership groups.
- Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture focused on achieving company objectives.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of property management experience
- Strong analytical, financial, and quantitative skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred:
- Experience managing apartment communities
- Proven success achieving occupancy and financial goals
- Strong knowledge of property management software and industry best practices
