Field Controls Engineer (Commissioning)
$90,000-$120,000 (plus overtime and other benefits)
South Carolina (near Greenville/Spartanburg ideally) or North Carolina (further travel)
I have an exciting opportunity for an Engineer with power distribution/switchgear/switchboard and PLC experience to join an organization who are looking to add to an established automation team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform field commissioning on power distribution equipment. This will include UL891 switchboards and integrated skids.
- Troubleshoot and modify protective relay, PLC, or HMI programs
- Elements of commissioning work and handing over to the client.
- Support internal quality testing of power distribution and controls equipment.
Ideal Candidate:
To be considered for the role, we are looking for the following:
- 3 years experience programming/troubleshooting PLC's
- 2 years of electrical power experience
- Good understanding of low voltage power circuits and distribution
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical problems in the field
