A well-established building automation and controls provider is seeking an experienced Building Automation Control Manager to lead their engineering and project delivery team in New Jersey. This organization has a strong reputation within the BAS/BMS industry, delivering high-quality automation solutions across industrial and commercial environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level Building Automation Control Manager looking to take ownership of projects, lead technical teams, and play a key role in overall project delivery.
The Role
• Lead and manage a team of engineers and BAS programmers
• Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries and project coordination
• Oversee in-house programming, electrical drawings, and submittal preparation
• Manage hardware and software integration for building automation systems
• Coordinate project scheduling, commissioning, and final close-out
• Oversee monthly project billings and timelines
• Work closely with field teams and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery
About You
• 10 years of experience in Building Automation Control design, planning, and project delivery
• Proven leadership experience as a Building Automation Control Manager or in a similar senior role
• Strong knowledge of major control systems such as:
o Siemens
o Honeywell
o Johnson Controls
o Trane
o Delta
• Certified in Tridium Niagara AX or Niagara N4
• Experience with BACnet, LonWorks, and Modbus protocols
• Strong ability to manage both technical delivery and team performance
