We are looking for experienced, hard-working, entrepreneurial Regional Sales Manager to develop the state of New York with a focus on the following areas**: Manhattan, Finger Lakes and the Hudson Valley Summary:**Our Regional Sales Managers are highly entrepreneurial thinkers, working hard to understand the needs of retailers while staying one step ahead of the competition. Regional Sales Managers have a solid balance of account management experience and new account acquisition (cold-calling) experience. Our Sales Team is also involved in sales strategy development & execution, marketing strategy development, and new product launches.Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain the highest level of customer service in the industry through effective communication via phone, email and/or text promptly, politely and professionallyEstablish strong relationships with customers through appropriately timed communications and in person visits to purchasing, retail management and front-line retail staffUse data to upsell, prevent out of stocks, and track ranking.Stay connected to consumers and front-line retail staff by attending promotions and events (including in-store demos as needed)Manage sales growth expectations in assigned territory through current account growth and new account acquisitionPrepare sales information for retail customersCold-Call prospective customers in an organized, professional mannerEstablish consistent buying cycles to improve operational efficiency (and ultimately customer service)Educate retail staff and consumers about the brand along with new and existing productsNegotiate pricing and terms while maintaining marginActively check on competitive activity and report to company leadership and other sales and marketing team membersQualifications:5 years of sales and account management experience in cannabis, alcohol or equivalent industryBachelor's Degree in Business preferredDriver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skillsPrior sales experience in the area is highly preferred (alcohol or cannabis acceptable)Possess high attention to detail, prioritization, time management, and organizational skills with a positive, goal-oriented attitudeAbility to work in a very fast-paced environmentWillingness to work weekends and after-hours for educational business meetings, trade shows, events & presentationsAbility to be on the road dailyCompensation and Benefits:Competitive salary package and benefits (75k Commission - OTE 120k-150k).Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life InsuranceSchedule - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (M-F) with on call weekend as needed to meet customer needsReport to: VP of SalesWork Location -New YorkAbout Vangst:Vangst is the cannabis industry's hiring platform.
