Valencia College is now hiring a dynamic, creative and innovative Coordinator, Student Rights and Responsibilities to join our team at the West Campus.

The individual in this role will have the opportunity to:
Lead the investigation and resolution of low-level and mid-level conduct violations, ensuring all procedures are handled fairly, promptly, and in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct.
Serve as the primary conference administrator, facilitating disciplinary hearings, assigning charges, and communicating outcomes and sanctions to students.
Offer holistic, developmentally appropriate support to students by connecting them with relevant campus and community resources and building collaborative partnerships.
Lead the development and delivery of outreach and training initiatives focused on violence prevention, equipping faculty and staff with effective strategies for addressing student behavior.

The ideal candidate will:
Demonstrate experience developing programming and leading outreach initiatives, particularly related to student support and violence prevention.
Possess strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal abilities, with comfort facilitating presentations and engaging various audiences.
Have experience in a college or university setting, especially within student conduct, judicial affairs, or student affairs.
Exhibit professionalism, tact, and sound judgment when navigating sensitive or complex situations, including crisis response and triage.
Be knowledgeable in case management practices and systems (preferably Maxient), with an understanding of Title IX and EEO regulations.
Show strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, interpret policies, and implement effective solutions.
* This position will operate in a primarily on-site environment *
(4 days on-campus/1 day remote during the 1st initial semester. 3 days on-campus/2 days remote after the 1st semester.) *Subject to change based on business needs.
Please Note: This position will be physically housed on the West Campus with the expectation to travel to all campus locations on an as needed basis.

Additional Information:
This position will operate in a primarily on-site environment.
This position is eligible for Veteran’s Preference under Florida Statute 295.07(5)(a), F.S.
