Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst – Consultant
Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)
Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite / 1 Remote)
Hours Per Week: 40

Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements and policy documentation into detailed test cases and scenarios
- Build and execute test cases within QA/test systems
- Identify, track, and report defects and gaps during testing phases
- Publish status reports and communicate issues effectively with development teams
- Participate in SDLC processes including both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality standards in healthcare systems (Medicaid/MMIS)
Required Skills:
- 5 years of QA experience or equivalent in lieu of degree
- 5 years experience in test case design and requirement translation
- 3 years healthcare domain experience (Medicaid preferred)
- 3 years experience in defect reporting and communication with development teams
- 3 years direct hands on experience with formal test design tools
Preferred Skills
- Technical and/or Project Management certifications from recognized sources are desirable.
- 5 years large enterprise or e-business systems experience.
- 3 years proficient in use of manual or automated testing tools such as Azure DevOps or Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
- 3 years prior experience working in a standard SDLC (waterfall methodology) & in an AGILE delivery
