Job Description:-
This is a new position within the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS), the Medicaid Agency for South Carolina. The role focuses on managing, maintaining, and handling intake of new and existing Microsoft System Center Service Manager requests while supporting IT services across the department statewide.
The project involves System Center infrastructure management, workflow automation, and service request optimization using tools such as Service Manager, Orchestrator, and Cireson Web Portal.
Responsibilities:
Work with business units to gather and develop requirements for Service Manager requests and service offerings
Administer and manage Microsoft System Center Service Manager environment
Create, maintain, and update workflows in System Center Orchestrator
Work with Cireson Web Portal, including updates and vendor coordination
Maintain, patch, and update Service Manager, Orchestrator, and Cireson systems
Develop reporting on Service Manager usage
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Point of Contact (POC) for Service Manager processes
Recommend improvements in efficiency, reporting structures, and productivity
Collaborate with internal teams, management, and external vendors
Support after-hours activities for projects and platform support when required
Required/Preferred Skills:
Required Skills (Ranked):
Minimum 3 years of experience in a development role supporting Microsoft System Center Service Manager
Strong understanding of Service Manager services, features, site design, and best practices
Experience with Microsoft System Center Service Manager
Experience with Microsoft System Center Orchestrator
Experience with Cireson Web Portal for Service Manager
Preferred Skills (Ranked):
Working knowledge of Cireson Web Portal
Working knowledge of System Center Orchestrator
Microsoft Server Administration related certifications
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of recent related work experience
