- Candidate must currently reside in South Carolina or be willing to relocate to South Carolina before the project start date at their own expense
- This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days per week onsite
Position Overview
The Client is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst (Junior Tester) to support projects in collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO). The selected candidate will be responsible for validating application functionality, executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring software quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute functional and technical test cases.
- Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive test scenarios.
- Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, smoke, usability, and boundary testing.
- Maintain test documentation and traceability matrices.
- Participate in defect identification, triage, retesting, and resolution.
- Prepare QA documentation, reports, and test status updates.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure software quality and timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience translating business requirements into test cases and test scenarios.
- 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
- 3 years of knowledge of healthcare operations, preferably Medicaid.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and QA best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing large enterprise or e-Business applications.
- Experience with QA tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar.
- Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a Technical, Business, Healthcare, or related field.
- Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
