Quality Assurance Analyst

Position: Quality Assurance Analyst – Consultant

Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Duration: 12 Months (with possible extension)

Interview Process: 1 round (Virtual)

Important Note: Candidates must be South Carolina residents. No relocation allowed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing on technical solutions to identify and resolve issues
• Develop test plans, test cases, and QA/UAT processes
• Maintain SDLC traceability between requirements, test cases, and system components
• Conduct UI testing, regression testing, and reliability testing
• Execute quality assurance programs including usability and negative testing
• Design and execute automated testing scripts
• Participate in defect triage, retesting, and issue resolution
• Create QA reports and documentation
• Ensure adherence to testing governance, standards, and best practices
• Participate in reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections

Required Skills

• 5 years of experience translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios
• 3 years of healthcare domain experience (preferably Medicaid)
• Strong experience in reporting and communicating testing status, issues, and gaps
• Hands-on experience with formal test design tools

Preferred Skills

• 5 years working with large enterprise or e-business systems
• Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence
• Experience in both Waterfall (SDLC) and Agile methodologies

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or healthcare-related field (or equivalent experience)
