Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to support enterprise-level projects within a structured Project Management Office (PMO) environment. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working on complex, fast-paced, and change-driven initiatives.
The selected candidate will be responsible for performing quality assurance testing activities, identifying defects, validating system functionality, and ensuring software solutions meet business and technical requirements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing of technical solutions to identify, isolate, and resolve issues.
- Execute test plans and analyze test results to ensure application quality.
- Translate functional requirements, technical requirements, and design documents into detailed test cases.
- Develop and execute functional and technical test cases under the guidance of test leads and senior QA team members.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, design specifications, and test cases.
- Assist in creating Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTMs).
- Participate in defect management activities, including defect triage, retesting, and validation of fixes.
- Create and maintain quality assurance documentation, reports, and testing artifacts.
- Clearly communicate testing status, risks, and defects to stakeholders.
- Support established testing processes, SDLC standards, and governance practices.
Required Skills & Experience - Quality Assurance & Testing
- Minimum 2 years of experience translating business requirements and policy documentation into test cases and test scenarios.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with manual testing methodologies, including:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Smoke Testing
- Usability Testing
- Boundary Value Testing
Domain Knowledge
- Minimum 3 years of experience with healthcare operations and business processes, preferably within Medicaid or similar healthcare environments.
Technical & SDLC Experience
- Experience developing and executing test cases.
- Ability to document defects clearly and effectively.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Communication Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, developers, and project teams.
Preferred Skills
- 2 years of experience working with large enterprise or e-business systems.
- 3 years of experience using QA and test management tools such as:
- Jira
- Azure DevOps
- TestRail
- Similar testing tools
- 3 years of experience working in both:
- Waterfall SDLC environments
- Agile delivery environments
