Position Title: Electronics Technician II
Organization: Laboratory for Laser Energetics (LLE), University of Rochester
Summary:
Join the LLE Electronics and Controls Engineering group to assist in developing and constructing analog/digital circuitry for electro-optics, experimental setups, and control systems. Minimum qualifications include an AAS or AOS degree in Electronic Technology or a related field, along with 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Requirements:
- Proficient in assembling and testing circuit boards.
- Skilled in troubleshooting to component level.
- Experience in chassis fabrication, wiring, and CAD schematics.
- Strong soldering, cabling, and harness fabrication abilities.
- Familiarity with digital multimeters and test equipment.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
