Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage project workflows, oversee community engagement activities, support administrative and fiscal processes, and represent the Center in meetings with community partners, campus stakeholders, and external organizations.
- This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to work independently while supporting departmental priorities.
- Lead and coordinate key engagement initiatives, programs, and partnerships across the Center.
- Support departmental strategy, planning, and implementation under the direction of the Director of Partnerships Engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with key community stakeholders, including nonprofits, faith-based organizations, schools, healthcare partners, government agencies, businesses, media, and residents.
- Plan and execute community meetings, advisory boards, outreach events, and training.
- Facilitate discussions; read group dynamics; manage conflict professionally; and ensure culturally sensitive, community-centered engagement.
- Communicate research-related information clearly to diverse audiences using accessible language.
- Support administrative and operational functions, including event pre-approvals, contracts, invoices, reimbursements, and vendor coordination. - Monitor project timelines, deliverables, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Develop reports, presentations, communication materials, and stakeholder correspondence.
- Represent the Center and research teams in community and campus meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
