What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Settlement Processor position at Universal Title?
An industry leader in technology, customer experience and education, Universal Title is further expanding its footprint within the Maryland region. With said growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic candidate. The right individual is accountable, persistent in self-improvement and consistent in their actions. Experience in real estate title and settlement is not necessary. We have a training blueprint that will take a beginner to advanced within six months.
The ideal candidate will focus their time on reviewing, analyzing, and resolving title-related items that arise throughout the transaction, while clearly and professionally communicating updates and requirements to all parties involved. A significant portion of this role will involve preparing settlement files, coordinating with lenders, agents, and clients, and ensuring transactions progress smoothly to a successful closing.
The real estate title and settlement industry is fast-paced, detail-driven, and deeply rewarding — there’s nothing quite like being part of one of the most meaningful moments in someone’s life: closing on a home. Settlement processing offers a unique blend of problem-solving, customer service, and professional growth for someone motivated, organized, and eager to build a long-term career in the industry. If this sounds like the kind of challenge that excites you, we’d love to hear from you.
