Role Description
This is a full-time Independent Contractor position as a Commercial Real Estate Agent (or Salesperson) at Friend Commercial Real Estate. This opening is only available to experienced and fully licensed agents with an existing book of business. We are headquartered in Millersville, MD but agents are given the ability to freely choose which markets they focus on and spend their time in.
The commission splits are extremely competitive and we have a lot of fun together getting wins for our clients. We stress your ownership of your client relationships while working in an environment that encourages comradery. Presently Friend also provides a plethora of tools and resources including but not limited to CoStar, Crexi, an in-house legal for agreements and forms, 3rd party databases, multiple CRM platforms, the ability to pitch investments deals to ownership, and much more. All of this is how we are able to attract and retain the best talent in the industry.
Qualifications
- Fully licensed real estate agent, associated broker, or broker in either Maryland, Virginia, and/or DC
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Familiarity with a handful of commercial property markets in Maryland, Virginia, and DC
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
- Must believe in the importance of making money
- Good transportation
Ideal Candidate
- 7 years experience in Real Estate Brokerage and Sales
- Pre-existing relationships with commercial real estate decision makers
- Current or former business owner
- Active in community and/or hobbies
- Master's degree or equivalent industry experience
- Ready to get to work and make money
