UDT is a technology enabler that helps clients in major industries evaluate, architect, provide, secure, and manage technology on the go, in the rack and in the cloud. UDT provides technical, professional, cyber security and managed services. This is a Full-Time position, which is a Hybrid position with the expectation that you will be requested to come into the Miramar, FL office as needed for live meetings.
Must be located within driving distance of Miramar, FL.
Accounts Payable Specialist
UDT has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the UDT Team in Miramar, FL. The AP Specialist will be responsible for leading all Account Payables for the Account Department.
Requirements/ Duties
- Entering vendor vouchers into the ERP system
- Set-up and maintain vendor information within the database
- Review and reconcile vendor accounts monthly
- Research and reconcile errors
- Communicate with vendors on an ongoing basis regarding
- Payment status
- Billing/credit issues
- Investigating discrepancies until resolution
- Assist in the processing of expense reimbursements
- Prepare ad hoc accounts payable reports
- Provide month end close support
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years related experience in Accounts Payable
- Experience using MAS ERP program preferred
- Knowledge of accounting functions and terminology
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite
- Excellent data entry skills while maintaining speed and high accuracy
- Good time management and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take the initiative to get things done
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and under pressure.
- Flexible and adaptable to change
Position requires continuous use of independent judgment, decision making capabilities and leadership competencies to support solid business practices to sustain and grow the business. The position also requires strong knowledge of laws that affect employment practices and requires using prudent judgment when applying and enforcing decisions related to such laws, policies, and practices for proper compliance.
