Solar Finance Collection Specialist/ Bookkeeper

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper who will also oversee solar financing collections. This role is critical to ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, proper tracking of every solar sale, and timely collection of financing payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations
• Track and record every solar sale from contract to completion
• Manage financing collections with customers and lenders, ensuring timely payments
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review
• Support the operations team with documentation and contract processing
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding financing and payment questions
• Assist with payroll, tax preparation, and compliance as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, or similar role
• Knowledge of accounting principles, QuickBooks (or similar software)
• Experience with collections and/or solar financing preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Solar or construction industry experience is a plus
