- Prepare and enter purchase orders accurately into the ERP system.
- Request and compare freight quotes to ensure cost-effective shipping solutions.
- Track and confirm order status with suppliers and carriers.
- Maintain vendor records and update pricing information.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to meet delivery schedules.
- Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, shipments, or pricing.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and reorder points.
- Support compliance with company purchasing policies and vendor agreements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain (manufacturing environment a plus).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate and analyze freight costs.
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry accuracy.
- Knowledge of freight logistics and vendor management.
