Summary:
The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately receiving and entering customer orders submitted by phone or email. This role ensures orders are processed efficiently and delivered on time, supporting both customer satisfaction and internal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and enter customer orders via email and phone
Verify order accuracy, pricing, and availability
Coordinate with production and shipping to meet delivery timelines
Communicate with customers regarding order status or issues
Maintain accurate order records in the ERP or order management system
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
1-2 years of experience in order entry or customer service (manufacturing/distribution preferred)
Strong data entry and communication skills
Experience with ERP or order processing systems
Detail-oriented and organized
