Title: Marker Maker
Reports to: Cutting Supervisor
Summary of Position:
This role is responsible for preparing garment markers in a production environment, while maintaining strong attention to detail. This individual will be part of a team responsible for safely and efficiently assisting the tactical products of the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Under moderate supervision, measuring CAD files and issuing materials in Microsoft GP to production orders.
§ Utilizes CAD to prepare markers for stock, mail, and special orders.
§ Rewinds and inspects markers to prevent errors.
§ Retrieves pieces from completed jobs for use in further manufacturing processes.
§ Prepares patterns from plastic materials, including cutting.
§ Performs similar, comparable, or related duties as required, including guiding and assisting others.
§ Maintains strong attention to detail in all tasks.
§ Presents and maintains professional behavior at all times.
§ Performs other related duties as assigned.
§ Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reports any unsafe conditions.
Qualifications:
§ A minimum of one year of experience performing cutting duties within the garment manufacturing industry is required.
§ Demonstrates excellent mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
§ Possesses intermediate proficiency in using Microsoft Office software applications.
§ Exhibits the ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, particularly within a team environment.
§ Demonstrates excellent administrative and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
